Snakestrike walked along the border with Riverbird, sniffing the air for prey. She soon found a vole scent and crept after it, easily catching it.

Riverbird followed Snakestrike closed, then stopped and watched as she caught her vole.
'Good catch,' he mewed quietly, then continued along the border, searching for his own prey.
Soon he found a mouse close to the river bank, and he dropped into a hunters crouch. He crept towards the mouse, then quickly pounced, swiftly killing it.

Snakestrike followed Riverbird.
'That was a nice catch,' she mewed.
She paused, sniffed the border. The scents on the other side of the river were very fresh.
'Seems like they've been patrolling recently.' She murmered.

Riverbird stopped and sniffed as well.
'Let's stay away from Leap Rocks today. I'm happier with a river between us and them.' he meowed, turning to follow the river.

'Agreed,' she mewed, quickly joining Riverbird.

After wondering along the river bank for a while Riverbird stopped.
'I'm tired, and it's almost sunrise. We should head back,' he meowed.

'Yeah, you're right. Let's go,' she replied, then lead the way back to camp.
