Foxpelt shrugs.
"I can always come up there to get you."

The she-cat giggles. "You're gonna climb aaaall the way up here, and then be stuck there when I get down before you? Wouldn't it just be easier to tell me some stories?"

"Sure, it would. But I'd never hear the end of it back at camp."

She stretches and dangles one paw off the branch.
"You don't have to tell them, silly! After all, aren't they all meanies?"

"It's a little thing called Clan loyalty. You wouldn't understand."

The she-cat pouts. "Well, duh! You haven't told me anything about Clans! How would I know? I'm not as old as you, you know."
It's true. The silver she-cat looks about as old as an apprentice.

"And I intend to continue not telling you anything. Now, I suggest you leave before others get here."

The she-cat snaps to alert and looks back and forth, ears flickering and nostrils flaring as she searches for any sign of other Clan cats. After a few seconds, she leans down towards Foxpelt.
"Y'know, Foxpelt... I don't think anyone's coming. I guess they just don't care about you, huh?"

Foxpelt twitches slightly, starting to get nervous. There weren't any signs of DarkClan warriors anywhere nearby, and certainly he wasn't getting any help from FernClan...
"Or maybe they know I can handle myself."

"Could you handle yourself against the cats I have on my team?" she asks, purring. "I can call them over here, and maybe when they're done giving you some scars your Clanmates will decide that poor little Foxpelt is worth saving."

"They haven't shown up yet either, now have they? Maybe nobody cares about you, hmm?"

The she-cat giggles. "That's because I haven't called them, silly!"

"Oh, please. They clearly don't care about you, or you wouldn't have been sent into Clan territory without reinforcement."

"Haven't you been listening, warrior?" the she-cat asks. "I do have reinforcements, unlike you. Say the word, and I'll call them in here right now, so they can beat you up for being such a meanie."

"Yes, and that won't attract attention in the slightest. I don't think it'll happen."

The she-cat leans down, tail twitching, and smiling a little.
"So is that a yes or no, Foxpelt?" she asks, her voice teasing.

"Call whom you like."

The she-cat giggles with childish delight.
"Okey dokes! Just a sec!"
She stands up on the branch and lets out a loud yowl that echoes across the FernClan territory and sets the hair of any cats hearing it standing on edge. Then she sits down, looking very pleased with herself and even excited.
After about a minute, a large, fluffy reddish tom pads out of the bushes. At his shoulder is a small black-and-tawny she-cat--one familiar to Foxpelt. The tom looks up at the she-cat.
"He's not giving you a problem, is he?"
The she-cat pouts.
"Where is she? I thought she was gonna come and we could fight together!" she complains.
The tom's eyes flash. "She's busy. As we are about to become..."

Foxpelt backs up slightly. "Oh dear..."
"You don't look all that tough."

The tom bares his teeth. "Want to test that theory?" he asks tauntingly. He advances a step forward.
Raven darts to the bottom of the tree and starts climbing, while the silver she-cat leaps gracefully to the ground and advances on Foxpelt from the side.
