Starlingstar finally reached the FernClan scent on their side of the river, and without hesitation she continued along the river's edge towards Leap Rocks.
Wrenpaw hesitated, and looked at Ripplepaw shyly. 'Why did we agree to take this land again?' she whispered.
Ripplepaw shook his head. 'I don't know, there's prey there, and if we were to learn how to fish Leap Rocks would be even more useful to us, but everyone knows its cursed, no one will want to hut there. StarClan even let a medicine cat die there, so what's to stop something happening to us?' He whispered back.
'Extra territory means extra food for the Clan. What happened in the past was a tragedy not even StarClan could of stopped, don't let it scare you away from perfectly good prey' Starlingstar meowed loudly, overhearing part of the apprentice's whispers.
